I'm pregnant / breastfeeding, can I still get my tattoo done?

We're unable to tattoo anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding.

I want a tattoo but don't really know what I want

It's really important to know what you want your tattoo to be before you get tattooed, after all, this is going to be permanently on your skin. We recommend having a good idea and perhaps having a chat to one of our artists before you book, to discuss what it is you're after. You can do this by popping in, emailing or simply giving us a call. Our Studio Manager will point you in the direction of the artist(s) best suited for the style of tattoo you would like. There is no style that we won’t tattoo for you, just make sure you have a rough idea of what you’re looking for and we can help with the rest!

When will I see my design?

Every artist works differently, but as a rule (simply due to how busy we can get), you’re likely to see the design on the day of your appointment and any amendments that need to be made can be done easily on the day. If it’s your first tattoo or you’re a little anxious about the design, we can make a note of that and try to send you a design a day or two before your appointment but this is not always guaranteed.

One of the reasons for this is, if your appointment is a little while off, we know minds can change. When you come in you could have a clear idea of exactly what you're after, however, after a chat with friends and family or a quick browse on instagram or pinterest, you may see something that you prefer. This is all fine and as long as we're given at least 48 hours notice, designs can be changed.

I can't make my appointment any more

No problem, we understand that life gets in the way and sometimes we just aren't able to make our appointments. If you're booked in but can no longer make your appointment just let us know as soon as possible. The latest you can let us know beforehand is 48 hours before and we can reschedule and move your booking fee to your new appointment date. Booking fees are non-refundable except for in exceptional circumstances which is at each individual artists discretion.

If cancellations are made after the 48 hour mark, you will have lost your booking fee.

I'm really nervous about getting tattooed

We know it can be daunting getting a tattoo, whether it's your first time, second or you're a tattoo veteran, we just want to put you at ease. All our artists have a lot experience in the industry and have tattooed many a person, you're in safe hands. If you want to chat to an artist before you book an appointment, feel free to pop in or drop us an email and we'll do our best to calm those pre-appointment nerves.

Does it hurt?

Yes. We can't lie to you, it does hurt a bit. Some people feel it more than others, depending on your pain threshold.

We can advise on topical numbing creams and how to apply them before your appointment, just pop in, give us a call or drop us an email.

How long will my tattoo take/cost to do?

This will depend entirely on what you're having and where you're having it. Best bet is to get in touch with us, let us know what you're thinking, from there we can tell you roughly how long it will take and cost.

I had a tattoo done by someone else and I don't like it anymore. Can you cover it?

We regularly deal with cover ups. Depending on the existing tattoo and what you’re looking to cover it with, we may advise you to have some Laser Tattoo Removal first. Laser Tattoo Removal will allow you to have more options with what you can cover your tattoo with.

Get in touch with us by either emailing over some photos of your existing tattoo and what you’re looking to cover it with or pop down to the studio to show us and we can advise you from there.

I'm going to be late for my appointment, will you wait for me?

Different artists have different rules regarding late appointments. As a general rule, if you are 15 minutes or more, late to your appointment, it will either be time taken off of your appointment (meaning you will finish at the same time and won't be tattooed for as long) OR your appointment could be cancelled entirely and you will lose your deposit. If you find yourself running late for your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly as it affects other customers who may be booked in after you.

How do I confirm my tattoo appointment?

Everyone who books an appointment with one of our artists gets a date, a time and a slot for how many hours they will be tattooed. For your appointment to be booked, we require a booking fee, please speak to our Studio Manager for your booking fee amount to be calculated depending on your booking length. Without a booking fee, we cannot confirm any appointments.
